Subject: Independence Day Holiday 2016

We will celebrate Independence Day as a company holiday on Monday, July 4th.

All full-time employees and part-time employees who are eligible for benefits will receive holiday pay consistent with their classification and regularly scheduled work day and hours. Temporary employees are exempt from holiday pay.

Timesheets are required to be submitted and approved on Friday, July 1st by 5 pm (as usual).

Holiday hours will be prorated based on the hours of your set current weekly work schedule:

- More than 24 hours of work, but less than 40 hours – 6 hours of holiday pay

- 40 or more hours – 8 hours of holiday pay

Before departing on Friday, please make sure that you shut down your computer as we are instructed to do every evening. Save files before shutting down and turn off all auxiliary equipment, including lights, radios, I-Pods, cell phone chargers, fans, copiers, coffee machines and similar devices. Stow away all personal items that might be vulnerable to loss or misplacement.
